The who; People directly and indirectly affected by the entirety of this project.

Eric and Christa, as they take photos/blog/promote health and teach yoga.
Everyone who participates in the spontaneous classes, reads the blog, looks through photographs, participates in contests, promotes and creates art, pays it forward, starts looking at their own health, and companies developing products.
Anyone affected by the pay-it-forward aspect; communities that yoga is brought back to, new things are shared, and skills are passed on.

The what; The different components of this project.

Contests and spontaneous health demonstrations.
Spontaneous yoga classes.
Fundraising, workshops, sponsorships, art, promotion, program development.
Talks, blog and photography.

Travel, social media and community building.

The where; The different places directly and indirectly hosting Spiritfeet.

Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua.
Canada.
Internet: social media, email.

The when; Preparation, traveling, and follow-up dates.

May – July: preparation
July 8th – September 15th, 2013: volunteer trip
September 16th onward: talking and presentations

The why; Project purpose.

To talk about and bring awareness to holistic health (emotional, physical, mental, spiritual) and how yoga can be used as a tool to maintain it.
The pay-it-forward aspect, how we plant trees we will never sit under, and how that’s good for creating strong community.
How doing something different from your routine, something spontaneous, is what helps you grow and makes you healthier. It’s getting outside your box to grow.
We’re sharing it through photography and writing so people not in the physical circle can be part of, to expand the experience and community. That’s the purpose for using social media.

The how; The ways in which we hope to accomplish our goals.

By teaching on the fly, spontaneous yoga classes in every city we go through. Talking about the importance of a holistic approach to health, presenting yoga as a potential tool for taking care of your health. Using the Life Skills model of creating a container, a circle for people to experience community and health in. Talking about how it was for them and sharing. Writing about the experience and photographing it so we can get people involved and pass it on.
